Have you ever noticed that the more you talk about a problem,
the more you concentrate on it, the more you try to fix it, the more difficult it gets?

Millions of people - especially in the Western World where we seem to have so much - grapple with thoughts like these every day.
Perhaps that is because we are only using our Conscious Mind to deal with the problem; and along with this go so many resistances, blockages, and refusals to encounter the very thing that we really want to try to understand. We are beaten before we start!
These resistances are stored between your Conscious and your Unconscious Mind. Sometimes we call it the Ego: The Self. But this can be confusing and too technical sometimes. Perhaps it would be easier to understand if we consider this little sentinel as "The Gatekeeper": it decides what gets allowed in to consciousness, and, what stays repressed. Perhaps with the exception of those insights we get once in a while - those dreams that seem to mean so much, but are gone seconds after awakening - your Conscious and Unconscious Minds don't have very much to say to each other directly!
That is why - and this is no matter how well-intentioned you might be - you always seem to end up in the same place as you started: defeated, and even more confused!

Cognitive Hypnotherapy combines clinical hypnosis with repatterning and behaviour modification techniques techniques and is one of the most successful forms of therapy today for many areas of entrenched behaviour patterns, phobias, and anxiety states. It has been shown to be tremendously effective in a much shorter time frame than traditional psychotherapy methods. Obviously the overall financial benefits of such a therapy cannot be overlooked, and combined CRT/Hypnotherapy sessions are considerably less expensive than you might expect.
